So Much to Be Thankful for Sýnishorn
Thankful for Contentment
“I know what it means to lack, and I know what it means to experience overwhelming abundance. For I’m trained in the secret of overcoming all things, whether in fullness or in hunger. And I find that the strength of Christ’s explosive power infuses me to conquer every difficulty.” Philippians 4:12-13 TPT
Father, I love You. I thank You for another day- this day. There have been moments I felt like difficulty would swallow me, but You strengthened me to make it this far. Thank You for every win and every challenge. Thank You for every loss and every gain. Thank You for the moments I had with loved ones that are no longer here with me. Thank You! Thank You for comforting me in the difficult moments and singing over me in the joyous ones. Jesus, I thank You! Thank You for guiding me when I could not find my way. Lord, I ask that You continue to lead me to contentment in this season. I feel like the times are different and I have been pushed to adjust to life in a new way, with new people, places and things. Help me to see the blessings in it all! Help my heart to be content with the things I choose and with the things I cannot control. Thank You for strength and joy in this season. I soak it up, as You sing songs of joy and deliverance over me! In Jesus’ name, amen.
