Walk Through The Bible 365 - JulySýnishorn
Remember His Covenant in Times of Hardship
Perhaps the reader can remember why God did not destroy the evil ruler a few chapters back. God's promises were in effect (the covenant with David's lineage) and we find that goodness and righteousness has a season in world affairs because His Will is being done. Did you notice the reaction of God's people when evil was taken care of and righteousness ruled? The people rejoiced!
Prayer: We praise You, Father, because of Your Righteousness and Faithfulness to your covenant with us. We proclaim Your Truth and Testimony that You alone are worthy of our praise and adoration. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
