Four Things the Enemy Uses to Delay Your Destiny

DAY 4 OF 4

ACCUSATION

Usually, a person may only be accused of a crime or wrongdoing when there is enough substantial evidence to prove the wrongdoings of the accused. Satan does not play “fair game,” the mere fact that you are born again makes you his enemy, and he will pull out all stops to accuse you.

The Bible explains in Revelation 12:10-11 how satan constantly goes before God to accuse the believers of their wrongs. There is a promise, however, and it states that we overcome the devil by the blood of the Lamb (the finished work of the cross which washes away our sin) and the power of His testimony.

You see, Jesus already paid the price in full. He was falsely accused and ridiculed; He was spat upon and cursed for our transgressions. They even killed Him, the innocent Son of God, that we can walk in freedom.

If you are being accused by the words of men, take heart that Jesus’ precious blood secures your victory.

Let us ensure that we live a holy and pure life, striving to become perfect like our Master (1 Peter 1:16 & Matthew 5:48). Whenever you sin, be quick to repent and confess your sin to the Lord. He is faithful and just to forgive you. Then, forgive yourself and get right back on track with your journey in Christ.

Satan cannot get you down any longer. You are a new creation in Christ, and all accusation against you is aimed at God. May boldness come over you to stand firm in faith and become all that God has planned for your life.

If you decide not to give satan any foothold in your life, then he has lost his grip, and you will be unstoppable at advancing the Kingdom with fellow believers.

Prayer:

Lord Jesus, thank you that the price for my freedom has been paid in full. I will no longer be like a wave tossed to and fro. I am making up my mind to become mature and unwavering. I pray for the grace to understand the mysteries contained in the Word, and I desire to do great and mightily exploits to advance the Kingdom. I will not be found wanting on the day when I stand in front of you. Your blood was not shed in vain. Thank you that I may be a partaker of victory through your grace.

I love you Lord.
