Hope for the Future

DAY 4 OF 4

A Real Heaven

In every nation and generation, people face death and the question of the afterlife. We have a shared desire, across many cultures, that there is more to this world than what we see. Is the end of our lives on earth also the end of the story? Is biological decay the only hope we have? That sounds bleak. We do not want to just pretend heaven exists if it is not real. How do we know?

There are people of many beliefs and backgrounds who are reading this, and I want to respect everyone. Jesus made some very significant and bold statements. At a funeral, He wept with the people and also declared that He is the resurrection and the life. Jesus had a love and message for people of all nations that whoever believes in Him will have eternal life, including the thief on the cross next to Him.

Eternal life is based on grace. It is an undeserved gift, not from any religious performances or good works. Jesus is the only religious leader who died and rose from the grave, with a massive amount of historical evidence as well. Those are my personal beliefs, and I appreciate your willingness to hear and consider my worldview.

How would your life change right now if you had the assurance of heaven? Yes, there are some wonderful mysteries about heaven, and there are also some clear promises and descriptions. It makes sense that if you knew your final destination, it could help you rest, risk, and spread hope. The reality of heaven changed my life. It inspires me daily to let people know how loved they are and how strong and eternal this love is. Heaven brings an unending source of hope.
