Finding Freedom in JesusSýnishorn
Freedom from the consequences of sin
The last type of freedom that Jesus offers us, has not yet reached its fullness. This end goal will only be reached when Jesus comes back to create new heavens and a new earth. Creation is longing for that moment, and many believers echo the words of the apostle John: “Come, Lord Jesus!” (Revelation 22:20).
When Jesus’ Kingdom has reached its fullness, both sin and its consequences will be gone completely. Ever since sin has come into the world, people have suffered from pain, grief and death. But these will be no more on the new earth, when “the former things have passed away”. Not only will humans be freed from their suffering, but the natural environment will be, too: “Creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption” (Romans 8:21). The new earth will be beautiful, peaceful and glorious. God and man will dwell together in perfect harmony.
This is the future God has in store for you if you believe in Him, give up your sinful life, and follow Him. This is the only road to real and lasting freedom. This is God’s gift for you.

About this Plan
Jesus says: “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free” (John 8:31-32). That sounds good, since freedom is something we are all looking for! This reading plan introduces twelve types of freedom that can all be found in Jesus.
