Take it Back, Press On!
After accepting God's calling, somehow my fear of the unknown grew bigger and overwhelming. The situation seems messy and I felt God was at a distance. He seemed near but that I couldn't get to Him...
Until one day, He spoke to me through a parable from 2nd Kings 8:1-6 and He said "Press on, It's time to dream like a child again."
The parable from 2nd Kings 8:1-6 is about a woman whom Elisha asked to leave Israel because God had called for a famine on Israel for 7years and go to another city for the time being. When she was gone, she had lost everything, including her land and house.
After the famine had ended, she returned. She went to see the king about getting back what belonged to her.
In verse 6 - “Is this true?” the king asked her. And she told him the story. So he directed one of his officials to see that everything she had lost was restored to her, including the value of any crops that had been harvested during her absence.”
Are you like that woman now? Maybe you have followed God's calling and everything else seems a mess right now? Maybe you’ve lost your joy, your peace, your faith but come back!
God has called you!
You are favored!
You can stand in the presence of the King of kings to ask for everything back!
You can have your joy back!
Your peace back!
Your dream back!
Your confidence back!
Your purpose back!
You are His child!
