Nothing Shall Separate Us

DAY 3 OF 5

While We Were Yet Sinners

“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans‬ ‭5:8‬ ‭KJV‬‬

While we were yet sinners Christ died for us. His Blood was poured out for our sin. Colossians‬ ‭1:12-14‬ ‭KJV‬‬ declares, “Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:” His Blood has delivered us from the power of darkness. Christ has redeemed us with His Blood.

‭‭When you are in Christ, the power and yoke of sin no longer have the authority to rule over you. Galatians 5:1 KJV declares, “Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.” When you are in Christ, He has set you free from the bondage of the past.

Ephesians‬ ‭4:22‬ ‭KJV‬‬ declares, “That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;” Put off the old man. Put off the former conversation concerning the old man. When you are in Christ, you are new and the old man is washed away.

‭‭ ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:17‬ ‭KJV‬‬ declares, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” In Christ, behold all things are new. When you are in Christ, you are a new creature. Do not pick up the old habits and frameworks of the past. Choose to be set free in Christ.
