Victory in Hard Times

DAY 3 OF 5

Victory In Hard Times – What To Say In the Middle of A Trial

What we say and what we don't say in a trial makes all the difference in the outcome of the trial. Today I am going to let Paul speak to you from his letter to Rome. Here are some things that you should be saying when in a trial:

1. God is for me, and nobody can be against me!

“What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?”

- Romans 8:31 NIV

2. God will not hold back ANY good thing from me!

“He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?”

- Romans 8:32 NIV

3. I am chosen, and I am justified by God!

“Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies.”

- Romans 8:33 NIV

4. Christ died and rose again and is interceding for me!

“Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.”

- Romans 8:34 NIV

5. NOBODY can separate me from the love of God!

“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?”

- Romans 8:35 NIV

6. I am MORE than a conqueror!

“No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.”

- Romans 8:37 NIV

7. NOTHING can separate me from the love of God!

“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

- Romans 8:38-39 NIV

About this Plan

Victory in Hard Times

We all experience hard times in life. But just because these times happen to us, it doesn't mean that we are automatically defeated. To live in victory, you will have trials to overcome. So, let's learn how to overcome them. To do this, you must know who you are, know what to say, and that victory is on the other side. Devon Daniel, Executive Pastor at Believer's Victory Church
