The Soul Of A Worship LeaderSýnishorn
Faith Beyond Seeing (Comfort over Calling)
“Faith is the daring of the soul to go farther than it can see.” – Williams N. Clarke (1912)
A seed, a mountain, a fish, a tree – to the ordinary eye, these items are mere elements of matter. Upon appearance, we can associate them to their rightful applications. A seed can be for planting, a mountain can be for climbing, a fish can be for eating and a tree for shading. The observance on the outside is simple; yet, the inward appearance goes beyond our vision.
Hebrews 11:1 says that faith is being sure for the things hoped for and the certainty of what we do not see. Faith can be broken into two parts: faith and hope, yet they go together perfectly.
