Vision for Dark Days Sýnishorn
Day 3 Recognize Your Unrest
Have you ever complained to God and been truly unsettled by His answer? Have your ever felt that His answers or actions were unfavorable, unjust, or just down right unfair?
If we feel unrest, we have to be able to recognize that. Leaving it unspoken just leads to bitterness that won’t serve God’s purpose in us.
The prophet Habakkuk ran to God. He heard from God and then he recognized that there were a few more concerns that He still needed to share with God.
Is your vision blurry because you are hiding your discontent with God from Him? (read that one more time slowly)
Have you searched your heart to see if there is any disgruntlement or disappointment you still need to share with God? Allow the Holy Spirit to search your heart. Recognize your unrest and surrender it to Him.
Pray: Bring truth to my heart as I partner with You, Lord.
About this Plan
With the current state of the world it is easy to lose hope. The power of God's voice is a light that gives us vision for dark days. How do you hold onto that light of vision? How do you keep faith in times of hardship? Habakkuk gives us some insight into holding tight and moving forward. God is speaking. God is responding.
