DAY 2 OF 4

 SUPERNATURAL

While Samuel was offering the burnt offering for the Israelites, God was working on the victory of his people.

The Philistines were certain of their victory. Strong and pompous, they had already defeated the Israelites before, why not again? Only now everything was different. The people who were previously defeated by their arrogance, now has reached God's favor through their acts of repentance.

The people reached the heart of the Lord. His love came in the form of thunder, showing God's power, sovereignty and willingness to protection His people. How many times have we heard the thunder of healing amid illness, or peace amid despair? The thunder of freedom? The thunder could not have been produced by the Israelites, but it was an action done solely by the Almighty God. God's supernatural power took over that battlefield.

How many times do life's battles rise against us and victory seems impossible? The disease never seems to go away; it looks like the business will never grow; the family that will “never” be converted to Christ; the dreams that will never come true. God is the one who acts when the line of the possible is crossed and when we cannot see any other way out.

God doesn't fit in a box, he doesn't find himself in an equation. God is not afraid of our opponents and is not frustrated by our defeats. God not only acts in what makes sense to us. God does not act in human ways. God reigns over the impossible, defies logic and moves in the supernatural.

In which battles of your life do you need to hear God's thunder? Have you ever experienced the supernatural of God in your life? Do you find it hard to believe in the supernatural of God?
