DAY 4 OF 7

The Holy Spirit Fills Us With Love

How many of you have people that are hard to love in your life? We all have a few like that, people impossible to love with our human love. That's why the Holy Spirit pours divine love into our hearts, so that we have the capacity to love those who we don't really like, those who mistreat us, those who criticize us or speak ill of us behind our backs.

The church should be filled with God's love, which in every way surpasses human love. Only through the fullness of the Spirit can we love, as a church, those whom society rejects, those who live suffocated by their mistakes and limited by religion.

It is not easy to love certain people, but God called us to. And in order to do so, we need to ask the Holy Spirit to fill us every day, to give us the sincere capacity to love our enemies, those who persecute us, those who are different from us or those who remind us of our own mistakes. May we reflect the love of Jesus in our community, in our city, in our context.

You can't give something that you have not received. I encourage you today to let God's love fill your heart and empower you to love the people around you. Let His inexhaustible and perfect love pour out of you and give you the ability to love others.

Prayer: Father, fill me with Your love, so that I may love others as You love them and reflect that love in my community. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
