Jesus Over Our CitySýnishorn
What will your very last words be? I know. It is kind of a morbid thought. “I love you. Tell the kids I love them. Everything will be okay.” Who knows what your last words will be?
The disciples had been through a lot with Jesus. They were called away from their families and jobs, signed up for a three-year journey with Jesus, watched Jesus get murdered before their eyes, saw him come back from the dead, spent another month with him, and then watched Jesus ascend back into heaven.
What were some of Jesus’ last words? We see them in Acts 1.
“You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all of Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
After this sentence, the Bible says that “he (Jesus) was taken up” into heaven.
WITNESSES. You will witness things in Jerusalem (your hometown), Judea, and Samaria (the towns around you, and the people who look different than you), and to the ends of the earth (people who live on a different continent than you.)
Are you a witness? Have you seen Jesus transform lives around you? Have you just been a witness, or have you been an eyewitness?
Jesus’ desire for you is to witness the transformation of people in your city, other cities around you, and other cities across the world. I encourage you today to become a witness.
Jesus is over our city.

About this Plan
Jesus is over our city! How do you take the fame of Jesus from city to city? What is the expectation of Jesus? How will Jesus come beside you as you proclaim His love from city to city?
