When the Dust SettlesSýnishorn
Most of the world is currently walking through life with extra conditions or additional restrictions. Life often has an exhausting element when it comes to promises being fulfilled.
When life feels like it’s full of adjustment, it’s important to remember that the promise of God has only one prerequisite: remain in Jesus. When we remain in Jesus, hidden in Him, we are heir to His promise.
The promise has never been dependent on us. God's promise is “YES” and “AMEN”; fully reliant on His nature! Fully reliant on Himself.
Regardless of what we’ve done or what drama is included within our lives, God still keeps his Word. Regardless of what happens to us, God is still unshaken in His ability to deliver on His promises. He is constant and promise-keeping. He wants to build your life, bring you peace amid pain, abundance amid loss, and excess in amid emptiness. His promise is all we need. The promise of God is unshaken.
Question:
Have you been stressed or exhausted by the space between the circumstances of your life and the promises of God?
You can stop striving. His ability to outwork his promise is not weighing on you.
Where can you practically fix your attention on His unswerving, unchanging promise this week? What does this mean for you?
