Living With Honor Sýnishorn
Day 07: Fully Equipped
Pray
Lord God, quiet my soul and open my mind and heart to receive your Word. Amen.
Read
Ephesians 1
Reflect
As Christians, we have the power of the Holy Spirit and are instructed to use it. We are also members of his Church. "The church is Christ's body, the completion of him who himself completes all things everywhere" (v.23). The Church is powerful and we are its Soldiers, rising up. How should we act if we're God's children (v.4)? What is Paul's prayer for the Ephesians? How would others know that Jesus is my Commander?
Respond
Lord, I trust your eternal promises. Each morning, I accept your Holy Spirit and the instructions you have given me. I will rise up. I will help build your Church. Lead me. Amen.
