Fight for the Faith: A Prayer Journey Thru JudeSýnishorn

Day 14 

As we journey through Jude, we’re reminded that it’s incumbent upon us to fight for the faith because there are false teachers not only "out there" but even within the church. 

They are, as Jude puts it, “wild waves of the sea, casting up the foam of their own shame; wandering stars, for whom the gloom of utter darkness has been reserved forever” (13). 

First, Heavenly Father, thank You for this warning—and for Your divine protection against such evil ones. Weed them out, Lord; nullify their influence in the church. Second, thank You for mercy and grace, the promise of which keeps me from “the gloom of utter darkness . . . forever”! Third, I pray for the advance of the life-transforming Good News of Jesus despite any and all opposition!
