Weak Is the New StrongSýnishorn
What do you consider your deepest weaknesses?
What gives me the credentials to write a devotional about weakness? I could not escape weakness. I was born with Cerebral Palsy. Facing the reality of weakness has been part of my daily life since day one.
God experienced weakness. We celebrate Christmas because our all-powerful Jesus let Himself vulnerably become weak on earth, being born as a helpless baby! Every person is born with a weakness! It’s inevitable and inescapable.
I had a choice. Faced with the weakness of not being able to walk like most able body people and talking with a slur, I could have chosen to let the circumstances of life hinder me, paralyze me or slow me down. Instead, because of Jesus, I took a different route. When Jesus met a paralyzed man, Jesus gave him a purpose for his weakness- “so that the works of God might be displayed in him.” (John 9:3 NASB).
Today, meditate on God’s wonderful works being displayed through each of your weaknesses.

About this Plan
What if you didn’t have to hide your weaknesses anymore? Todd Lollar was never given that option. Slow-moving, slower-talking, cerebral-palsied, and wheelchair-bound, Todd’s physical weaknesses were always apparent. Escaping them was impossible. This plan is based on Todd's book, Weak Is The New Strong: God's Power In You. Discover on this biblical journey how your deepest weaknesses can be your greatest strengths.
