When People Pray: Ears to Hear and a Heart to RespondSýnishorn
Pray Every Morning
“The Sovereign Lord has given me an instructed tongue, to know the word that sustains the weary. He wakens me morning by morning, wakens my ear to listen like one being taught. The Sovereign Lord has opened my ears; I have not been rebellious; I have not turned away.” Isaiah 50:4-5
In the same way that a king would sit down with his counselors to discuss whether or not his army of 10,000 could defeat an enemy with 20,000 (see Luke 14:31), shouldn’t we sit down with the Wonderful Counselor to discuss our day, our goals, our problems, our victories, our everything??
May God awaken your ear every morning… as He did Isaiah’s.
How can you integrate the importance of a ‘Two-Way Conversation’ into your morning?
Could it be that while you’re at the gym, in the midst of your commute, on your way to school, or while you’re getting ready for work that you could begin a conversation?
Creating space in your life to begin your day with God will have a massive impact on the rest of your day.

About this Plan
God speaks in a way that you can hear Him. Be encouraged, there is no ‘right way or wrong way’ to hear His voice. Our job as children of God and followers of Jesus, filled by the Holy Spirit, is not to explain God into a box. Ours is to know Him, to talk with Him, to listen to Him, and to obey Him.
