KINGDOM BENEFIT
“Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts (James 4:3 KJV).”
James, the brother of our Lord, chastised the Church because some failed to seek God for answers. And when they did so, it was with the wrong motives. The word “amiss” (kakos) means "evil; physically or morally wrong." When the Holy Spirit leads us, the outcome has Kingdom benefit. Our motives will not be selfish, vindictive, or prideful. As Spirit-led believers, the result of our prayers and actions will honor God and bless His people.
QUESTION: When you pray, and serve others, are your motives self-serving, or do they have Kingdom benefit?

About this Plan
Apostle Paul teaches us in Romans 8:14, the real sign of sonship in Christ is to recognize the leading of the Holy Spirit and to follow Him. As believers follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we reach a level of maturity in the faith, which entitles us to be called sons of God. This 3-day devotional will teach us how to recognize the leadership of the Holy Spirit.
