The Road to Excellence

DAY 4 OF 4

The Road to Success - Part IV

Daniel was a young man when King Nebuchadnezzar seized control of Jerusalem and forced him against his will to go to a country far away and serve him.

It would have been easy to just “go through the motions” in work that he didn’t care to do. Instead, Daniel and his three close friends performed with excellence! The King even noticed that their performance exceeded all others by ten times!

Their excellence flowed out of their desire to serve God first. Ephesians 6 teaches, “Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not men.”

The final ingredient of excellence is to serve wholeheartedly, even if you’re not in the ideal job, serve as if you are serving Jesus himself. Eternal rewards will follow!

About this Plan

The Road to Excellence

Excellence characterizes the work of every committed Christian. There are no short cuts or half-finished projects if we are obeying God. Even our thinking and attitudes must align with God's Word if we are to be businessmen and women of excellence. You'll end this study with a broader understanding of how to approach your life and work with excellence.
