DAY 2 OF 7

“He is with you.”

God’s presence in the lives of His people has always resulted in the accomplishment of great things in His name. In the Old Testament, we see that Joshua made noise and drew attention everywhere he went: conquering kingdoms, subduing kings, parting waters, and leading multitudes. Joshua 6:27 provides the key to Joshua's fame: the presence of God. Now, jumping over to the New Testament to the passage best known to us as the “Great Commission,” we find the same promise of divine presence coming from the mouth of Jesus before His ascension, and from his promise we can draw these principles:
1.) Jesus had been given all authority, but He would no longer be continuing on in his earthly journey.
2.) Jesus commissioned and empowered his followers—You and I—to do His bidding on His behalf.
3.) The scope of Christ’s vision isn’t limited to our cities, but like Joshua, we are called to be influencers of nations.
4.) And as with Joshua, the promise of the presence of God remains with us, and the fruit of God’s presence in our lives will be just as supernatural.

About this Plan

#FamousChurch

What Jesus bought is so much better than what we can build. What if Jesus paid for His Church to be famous, instead of living mundane, non-consequential lives? What if we've just never learned to abound? This plan unfolds Jesus's remarkable design for HIS Church based on His Word.
