Gone Fishin'

While handing out fliers for a Good News Club, I met Brenda who is moving to WA to be with her daughter and grandchildren.

She is sad to leave Walmart where she worked for 12 years and had such good friends there. But she is excited to be with her daughter and grandchildren and to get out of California.

I asked her if she would like me to pray with her and she said, “Oh, please do”.

When I was finished, she said, "This is the best thing that's happened to me in a long time."

We parted and I was amazed.

I am learning to love the people with whom God’s Spirit is prompting me to share His story. I never know what God might already be doing in their lives. The love of Jesus has stirred within me and completely overcome my fears and obstacles to sharing. Praise the Lord!

What an adventure! To God be the glory!
