Living FearlessSýnishorn
Time to Rise
When we fix our eyes on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, we are choosing faith over fear. Fear cannot stay where Love is. Fear and faith are in constant conflict. 1 John 4:18 NIV says, “...The one who fears is not made perfect in love”.
Jesus has already defeated death. When He conquered death, He also conquered fear. There is no fear in Love. God is Love, when we look to Love and look to God we are able to live a life that gives and shares His love and is not held back by fear.
In Romans 8, Paul's revelation of God is transformational when we realize that if the creator of the universe, of heaven and earth, of everything that we are is for us, who or what dare be against us?
Should fear stop us if our God is for us? NO!
Let’s not allow the enemy to stop us from fulfilling our purpose on this earth. In its simplicity, we are called to love God and love people.
If we truly love God we will honor Him by trusting Him. Trusting Him includes the decision to not let fear and the challenges life throws at us stop us from achieving great things. Trusting is believing that His strength is made perfect in our weakness. We can step out to live a life bigger than what we can do in our own strength, bringing glory to His name.
Loving others is the second part of our purpose. A way that we can love people is by encouraging them through the testimony of what God has done in us. We can pray for opportunities to share how He gave us His strength to rise above intimidating situations, overcoming our fears through our faith in Him.
Prayer:
Thank You, Jesus, that You are the Author and Perfecter of my Faith. I thank You that You gave Yourself, defeating death to restore life in me. I thank You, Father, for pouring out Your Holy Spirit on me, giving me the strength to face what I could never face alone. I thank You, God, for giving me a devoted heart to see these challenges as opportunities to increase my faith and give You honor through the battle to the other side. I reject the unhealthy demonic spirit of irrational fear, which is a lie. I receive the Holy, reverent fear of God to give me knowledge, wisdom, and a willingness to fulfill my purpose in this world. May others see the fruit of You in my life and glorify Your great name. Thank You, Lord. I choose faith in Jesus' name, Amen.
About this Plan
We either live by fear or by faith. Fear reacts to what's happening. Faith takes action and dares to believe that God is faithful to His promises, despite our current circumstance.
