Divine Switch

DAY 4 OF 6

SWITCHED DIRECTION

Who you used to be and what you used to do can’t stop God from loving you.  People might look down on you and purposefully bring up undesirable moments of your past every chance they get, but remember God’s love covers a multitude of sins.

Yes, sin is detestable in God’s sight but when a person renews their mind and cries out to their Savior seeking forgiveness, Jesus hears their heart of repentance and lovingly forgives and restores.  When one abandons sin and clings to Christ this is an indicator a Divine Switch in Direction occurred.

Not everyone will be for the divine switch in your life. People might disapprove of your new relationship in Christ, not understanding the depth of what God kept and delivered you from.

Some people might even go as far as to taint your sincerity as a Determined follower of Jesus and seek to destructively smear your character on how you sow into the Kingdom of God.  Living in a divine switch of direction means not focusing on what is acceptable in man’s sight but what is acceptable in God’s sight.

Negativizing how someone expresses gratitude for what the LORD has done in their life is disrespectful because only the person who has received great grace and mercy knows the importance of living out a Divinely switched lifestyle that honors God.

God’s word references a woman who encountered a Divine Switch in her life’s direction. This woman encountered ridicule, stares, whispers, and possibly doubt from outsiders seeking to authenticate her new lifestyle in Christ, but none of those distractions stopped her direction to follow Christ.

This woman’s past reputation of sin attracted negative thoughts concerning her, but the divine switch in direction was so strong in her life, she cried out before the LORD, illustrated how she would serve Him and keep him first, and she honored Him with the best she had.   This scriptural account of this woman serves as encouragement for all of us to press forward even when obstacles are against us.

When God divinely switches your direction, confidently walk with Christ, courageously keep Christ first, humbly cry out to Him in repentance, and purposefully give Him your best.

Whether you are alone or before a group of people don’t focus on the direction people want you to go, focus on the divine switched direction necessary for you to grow.

About this Plan

Divine Switch

There are several accounts in God’s word where Divine Switches occurred. God’s power in Divine Switches can happen in one’s health, career, mindset, relationship, and family. When God Divinely Switches your situation, age, gender, and one’s background can’t thwart God’s plan. No longer live defined by your past, or by someone’s thoughts regarding you, understand that a Divine Switch can suddenly happen when you align with God.
