I Will Not Waste This CrisisSýnishorn
In a challenging season when there is an escalation of need, tangible loss and alternation to the “norm”, we often don’t feel like doing the things that will actually help us. Our couch is more inviting than the online workout we could be doing and that movie looks more appealing than the book we have been meaning to read. But it’s important to stay active and not get caught standing around allowing the season to overtake us. Purposefully choosing what you want out of a season, will help you make those small yet significant decisions every day.
Questions:
1. What does your active faith routine look like now? Are you still reading your Bible and actively engaging God in prayer? How can you incorporate these disciplines into your day?
2. What is one way that you can get your team, connect group, friends, or family inspired and involved in being active during this season of life? Get moving!
3. How can you respond to the worry and fear of those around you with the message of Jesus? What does prayer and outreach look like in a season where so much of everyday life is hosted virtually rather than in person?
