The Way To The Savior - A Family Easter Devotional

DAY 5 OF 7

Stand Strong with Hope

The card on the package read, “I hope you have a happy Easter! Love, Mom.” The person who wrote the card wanted her daughter to enjoy the celebration of Jesus’ resurrection from death. This mother was hopeful that her much loved daughter would have a happy, special day.

In the book of Acts, Paul wrote about hope too. He wanted to give a simple but important message to the people in the church: he had hope in God. Paul was sharing his hope with others because he wanted them to stand strong and experience the same hope he had. Paul knew he could have hope in God because God is all-powerful, all-knowing, and perfect. God can be trusted. What about you? Do you have the kind of hope in God that Paul had?

Dear God,

Help me have hope in You. I want to share this hope with others. Show me how to share hope as Paul did. Amen.

Cross Connection

Send a letter to someone and wish him or her a happy Easter season. Include a note about the hope found in Jesus!

About this Plan

The Way To The Savior - A Family Easter Devotional

Amid the hustle and bustle of springtime chores and storefront bunnies, focusing your children on the true meaning of Easter can be a challenge. Bring the family together and show them the way to the Savior instead! These excerpts are taken from the forty-day devotional book, “The Way to the Savior”, by Jeff and Abbey Land.
