21 Days of Celebration

DAY 20 OF 21

Day 20

“Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.”

1 Peter 1:8-9 NIVUK

Question:

Why do you think that Peter affirms such a degree of celebration in his letter?

Application:

Consider for yourself this practical exercise: Give somebody a phone call, send a WhatsApp message, send an email or even a small gift. This is to achieve the purpose of encouraging and affirming the way that you observe the celebration of life, their example of faith or their walk with God.

In your own words, convey how you have been impacted by their passion, their lives and their witness.

[let all this be rooted in love and encouragement]

Prayer:

Father, as I connect with (name here), may I communicate clearly and with a right degree of honour as though it were you encouraging them. Even if nobody else thinks of doing such a thing for me, I will celebrate the lives of others. Thank you for what you have done for me Jesus!

About this Plan

21 Days of Celebration

Take the adventure through God's word and see transformation in your life as you exercise the muscles of celebration. Much is made about the need for a reason to celebrate. To truly understand the Good News is to focus away from striving for personal accomplishment and instead, walking with the Father God, receiving all that has been accomplished through Jesus on our behalf, empowering us for a life of celebration.
