He Who Sows Sparingly Shall Also Reap Sparingly.
“But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.” 2 Corinthians 9:6 KJV
According to 2 Corinthians 9:6 KJV, those who sow sparingly shall also reap sparingly. The principle of sowing and reaping holds true to both natural and spiritual principles. Let’s examine both. 2 Corinthians 9:6 NLT declares, “Remember this—a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop.”
A farmer, or one who plants — a few seeds, will obtain a small or limited harvest. Choose to consistently sow. Choose to sow into others. Sow your time, skills, talent and resources generously into others. Choose to plant into others. Choose to sow into good ground. Sow at work. Sow at school. Sow at home. Sow into your ministry. Sow into your relationships. Choose to sow continuously. Don’t stop sowing. Don’t stop planting.
“[Remember] this: he who sows sparingly and grudgingly will also reap sparingly and grudgingly, and he who sows generously [that blessings may come to someone] will also reap generously and with blessings.” 2 Corinthians 9:6 AMPC. As you sow, choose to sow frequently and generously. Sow with a happy heart. The condition of your heart matters to God. He cares about the soil of your heart.
When you willfully sow, let not your heart be tainted with the bitterness of the past. When you sow, let not your heart be troubled. When you sow, choose to sow your time, talent, treasure and resources generously — let not your heart be bound by the bitterness of the past. Let go of the past. Don’t sow grudgingly. Forgive and give freely. Give generously. Give as God leads you. Sow into others. Let God lead your heart. Let God lead your hands. Let God use you. Sow freely, frequently and often.
