Forsake Not the Assembling of Yourselves TogetherSýnishorn
Seek Ye First The Kingdom Of God.
“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33 KJV
According to Strong’s Concordance the Greek word for “Seek” is ‘zēteō’ (G2212), which means “To seek in order to find” or “To crave”.
Seek God’s Kingdom. Seek God’s way of doing things. Search out His Word and find His way of doing things. Align your hands with His heart. Let His Word transform your heart. Align and submit your will to His Will. Surrender to His way of doing things. Crave Him daily.
Matthew 6:33 AMPC declares, “But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides.” Seek Christ and He will lead your footsteps. Seek Christ and He will add unto you. Seek Christ and let His Word increase and enlarge your borders. When you do things His way He will lead and guide your path.
Psalms 1:1-3 KJV declares, “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.” Don’t follow after the counsel of the ungodly. Don’t pattern your ways after the ways of sinners. Let Christ lead you. Let His Word guide and shape the framework of your life, heart and character.
Action:
Seek God before you seek the counsel of others. Pray and ask God for wisdom, instruction, clarity and insight. Pray and surrender to His Plan.
