Wise Families Choose Godly Friends.
You could state the verse above using a plain Texas proverb: If you lay down with dogs, you’re gonna come up with fleas!
The bottom line is that wise people hang out with wise people. If you hang out with fools, your life’s going to be a mess!
As parents, it’s vital that we impart this wisdom to our children. Who your children befriend will greatly determine who they’ll be in the next five to ten years.
I’m so thankful my parents and grandparents instilled this principle in me as a young boy. And while I’ve made a few mistakes along the way, I’m grateful I was always connected to a church and was always involved with Christian friends.
Choosing wise friends will help save your kids from experiencing a lot of hurt and heartache along the way. And it will help set the stage for their success in life! So help your kids choose their friends wisely.

About this Plan
With school approaching, teaching our children to respect and revere authority is vital—and you must start by teaching them to respect and revere God’s authority in their lives. In this 5-day plan, pray with Pastor Jack Graham from Prestonwood Baptist Church (http://www.jackgraham.org/) for our children to have a respect for authority; to stay morally pure; to find and keep good godly friends; and to not bully but care for one another.
