The Hidden ThingsSýnishorn
Public And Private.
“You can’t whisper one thing in private and preach the opposite in public; the day’s coming when those whispers will be repeated all over town.” Luke 12:3 MSG
You can’t live one way on Sunday and another way on Monday. God wants to use you on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. God wants to use you throughout the day. God wants to use you throughout the night. He wants to use you behind the scenes. He wants to use you behind closed doors. He wants to use you in the boardroom. He wants to use you behind the camera. He wants to use you in front of the camera.
Let God use you in seemingly small things. Let God use you in big things. Let God use you when it seems like no one is listening. Let God use you when it seems like everyone is watching. Choose to live a life that reflects the Light and Character of Christ both in private and in public.
Luke 12:1-3 MSG declares, “By this time the crowd, unwieldy and stepping on each other’s toes, numbered into the thousands. But Jesus’ primary concern was his disciples. He said to them, “Watch yourselves carefully so you don’t get contaminated with Pharisee yeast, Pharisee phoniness. You can’t keep your true self hidden forever; before long you’ll be exposed. You can’t hide behind a religious mask forever; sooner or later the mask will slip and your true face will be known. You can’t whisper one thing in private and preach the opposite in public; the day’s coming when those whispers will be repeated all over town.”
In Luke 12, Jesus was surrounded by thousands of people, in fact Luke 12:1 KJV states, “...There were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they trode one upon another, he began to say unto his disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.” Luke 12:1 KJV states that the people around Jesus was innumerable. Notice this, the quantity of people around Christ did not dilute the quality of His message. In fact, Jesus declares that those who switch their message in public in order to appease men are Pharisees. Don’t appease the crowds. Don’t become a Hypocrite. Don’t let your public message become tainted because of your contaminated private life.
Psalms 24:3-4 KJV declares, “Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.” Surrender to God and let His Word wash you from the inside out.

About this Plan
Vance K. Jackson leads readers in this life-transforming message. You cannot live your life one way in private and proclaim something else in public. You cannot live your life as a representative of Christ in public and live for the enemy in private. Who is your God? You choose. Let God lead your lips in private and in public. Choose not to be a hypocrite. Surrender to Christ.
