Fulfillment is the feeling that you have when you find yourself in the place that you belong.
Until I found my footing in life, I never really reached contentment. To me, contentment was always one more goal away. One more sale. One more check. It wasn’t until I reached a certain level of success that I realized that I still wasn’t fulfilled.
All my life, I had heard that money didn’t bring happiness or contentment and I didn’t believe it until I experienced it.
You cannot buy fulfillment or contentment. You have to find it.
Today, I find fulfillment within helping those around me. Training others to be better in their own areas of expertise, mentoring those within my organization, and bringing others to the next level, in turn, brings fulfillment to my life.
If you want to command your day, and you want to be a contented person then you need to find out what is fulfilling to you. For some this will come easy, for others it will take some self-evaluating.
The irony of my own sense of fulfillment is that it has always been there, I just didn’t notice it. I believe that God puts your potential within you, and that it is up to us to find out where that potential lies. What passion or skill do you possess that you aren’t utilizing? What are you meant to do? This question plagues everyone at some point in their life, and it must be answered if you hope to live a life of fulfillment.
What would you do with your life if you had all the time and money in the world?
There is no better time than today to start doing what you love. Don’t chase money in hopes of finding fulfillment along the way, because you will be disappointed.
Chase fulfillment. Chase contentment..
Today is my day of fulfillment.
1. What is it that fulfills you?
