Day 4: Speak Your Mind
As I discussed in Day 2’s devotional, sometimes it might be better to keep quiet, but today I want you to focus and speak God’s world that will HELP bring healing to your mind.
The Bible tells us in Psalms to “Say So.” My wife Debbie and I have made it a pattern to speak God’s word over our lives every day, and here are a few for you to speak OUT LOUD daily as your pursue mental healing.
“I have made up my mind to obey your laws forever, no matter what.” - Ps 119:112
“And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” - Philippians 4:7
“For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my laws into their minds, and write them on their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.” - Hebrews 8:10
“Jesus replied: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’- Matthew 22:37
“Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.” - Colossians 3:2
“For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.” - 2 Timothy 1:7
My prayer is that you continue to renew your mind daily and to make the best health decisions you can for your mental health.
Prayer for Day 4: Father in heaven, I thank You for the plans that you have for my life, and that these plans are good, and have a future and a hope. I give you my thoughts, my anxieties, my cares, my whole mind. I ask that You continue to heal whatever needs healing, and direct me how You see fit. I love you Lord. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
