Heart Health

DAY 3 OF 4

On "thorny ground," seeds have the depth of earth necessary for growth, but developing fruit is not possible when other things share the soil. On "thorny ground," all of the life necessary for seed growth is taken from the seed and sucked into the thorns. When the thorns have gotten strong enough, they choke the life of the seed, limiting its ability to produce.

As the production center of your life, your heart will incubate whatever seed you sow into it and release it as your state of being. When your heart is attached to other things, other concerns, and other desires, those things compete for the space God's Word should have within your heart.

Because your heart can only produce from what it has been given, it is important to take time to quiet other things and focus solely on the Word of God and what you’re desiring for your heart to produce.

About this Plan

Heart Health

Your heart must never become a well-beaten path. It must be guarded well. Too many voices, too many words, too many circumstances can cause your heart to be worn and incapable of grasping what God wants to whisper to it. Let's clear the path and keep the heart healthy and intentionally moving forward.
