You Were Built For ThisSýnishorn
I Am Fearless.
“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7 KJV
Maybe, you have fear of failing. Maybe, you dread learning a new subject. Maybe, you fear that your season has passed. Maybe, you fear that you’re too young. Maybe, you fear that you’re too old. Fear will intimidate you no matter your age, experience or level of exposure. The goal of fear is to magnify itself above God’s Word. What did God say concerning your life? What has God declared over you? What does His Word say about you?
Feed your faith by reading, studying and meditating on His Word. “Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest.” Joshua 1:7 KJV
Fear wants to devour your faith. According to Strong’s Concordance, the Greek word for “Fear” is, ‘deilia’ (G1167) which means, “Timidity, fearfulness or cowardice.” Fear wants you to shrink. Don’t shrink in the classroom. Don’t shrink in the boardroom. Don’t shrink on the job. Don’t shrink in business. Don’t shrink in government. Lead a generation and do what God has called you to do. Don’t waste the gift. Don’t waste the opportunity. “He also that is slothful in his work is brother to him that is a great waster.” Proverbs 18:9 KJV
God has placed you here for such a time as this. God has not given you the spirit of fear; but of power, ability, might, strength, love, and of a sound mind. Don’t fear — you were built for this.
Prayer:
Father God, in the Name of Jesus, I pray for my brother or sister who’s reading this message. Father, I pray that You strengthen their hearts and hands for this great work. Father, increase their faith. Father, I ask that You remove every roadblock and remnant of fear. Father, grant them the wisdom to flourish.
Father, in the Name of Jesus, like Nehemiah, I pray that You strengthen their hands to build. Teach them how to lead. Father, teach them how to lead in the classroom. Lord, lead them in the boardroom. Father, guide their footsteps. Father, I pray that You bless the work of their hands and lead them in all that they do. Give them a heart to serve You and reflect Your Character in their talents, gifts and abilities.
Lord, sharpen them. Lord, develop them. Father, protect them. Father, give them a heart after You. Father, give them a heart to serve and to learn more of You. Father, give them a heart to serve and lead in Your Kingdom and in Business, Government, Education, Media, Creative Arts and even in their Family. Lord, let them reflect You in every area of their life. Father, we surrender our hearts to You. In Jesus Name. Amen.
