Easter: Hope RenewedSýnishorn
Final Word
There are three words that sometimes are used to describe the human race: broken, sinful and separated. After sin entered God's perfect world, the close relationship Adam had with God was broken. Mankind became separated from God. The effect is still with us today. Yet, one event changed the course of history. Known as “Easter,” it is a reminder of something that changed our standing before God -- forever.

The Bible says that when we were dead in our sins, God made us alive with Christ. The first Easter marks the day that God resolved the separation. The penalty for all our sins (past, present, and future) was paid when Jesus died on the cross and rose again. We no longer need to live in guilt and shame. By accepting this gift from God, we renew our relationship with Him. How sweet is the sound of saving grace!
