The Year Of Revival

DAY 5 OF 7

Will God ever ask you to do something you are not able to do? The answer is yes—all the time! It must be that way, for God's glory and kingdom. If we function according to our ability alone, we get the glory; if we function according to the power of the Spirit within us, God gets the glory. He wants to reveal Himself to a watching world.

― Henry Blackaby

The power of the Holy Spirit working alongside us in miraculous ways is not the ends, but the means. God has created giftings like healing, tongues and prophecy so that he may receive more glory—not to satiate our desire to see the supernatural.

But we cannot deny the power of the miraculous in our midst either. When God moves in his people, signs accompany him. Maybe it’s the miracle of provision or the miracle of emotional healing. Maybe it’s the miracle of physical healing or a prophetic word. All of these serve only to magnify the Miracle-Maker. All of them, when given by God, serve to unify and build up the church.

Take a moment to pray for the miraculous fruit of God in the church. Pray that miracles would break out to magnify the goodness of God and bring unity and encouragement to the global church.

About this Plan

The Year Of Revival

Revival can be one of the most misunderstood and over-used terms in the Christian language today. Ultimately the revival of the church starts with you. When you become self-lit in your passion for Jesus, you infect the world around you. This year God is going to something different in your life. Your future will be greater than your past. Revival is coming. Get ready.
