RESILIENCE

DAY 3 OF 7

It takes Resilience to stand for God especially when individuals around you either don’t want to endure the challenges of walking with God; they don’t know how to begin the relationship or a disheartening possibility is they believe they have all the time in the world to get their lives together, because you only live once right?

For those who make the conscious decision to live for Christ and follow the directives in God’s word, some people will be uncomfortable around you because of the light of Christ within you that reveals where God wants to shine his continuous love, grace, and mercy.

When anything that is contrary to God’s word wants to linger, mocking and hate are near. Despite how people receive the word of God that comes out of your mouth or from your God-honoring intentional actions remain Resilient and continue on with the race set out for you, which is proclaiming the Good news of Jesus Christ.

Some individuals will either reject or receive the truth but remember Resilience is moving forward despite what is done to you and what is said about you.

In scripture, we read about the impactful significance of couriers King Hezekiah used to run throughout Israel and Judah proclaiming the good news of God’s promise, that if the sons of Israel would return to God, God would return to them.

King Hezekiah explained in written letters to all Israel,  Judah, Manasseh, and Ephraim to come to the house of the LORD at Jerusalem to celebrate the Passover feast to the LORD God. The Passover feast hadn’t been celebrated in great numbers for a long time so a proclamation was given with the new time for celebration.

The couriers’ assignment was to run throughout Israel and Judah with the letters from the hand of King Hezekiah and his officials proclaiming the good news of God’s promise but when the couriers delivered the letters throughout the land people laughed at them with scorn and mocked them.

There were a few individuals who took heed to the proclamation and humbled themselves but remember Resilience means walking in the ways of God even when popular opinion opposes you.

Your Resilience in Christ is never in vain. The Lord will reward you and someone could possibly take heed as you live your God-honoring assignment and be saved.

Remain Resilient in your calling as you run your race.

Be Resilient no matter the distance or destination for where God is leading you.
