Reading the Bible in Historical Sequence Part 1

DAY 1 OF 31

c.4004 BC In the beginning God creates the universe, speaking it into being. In creation week, He separates light from darkness, sky from water, land from sea. He creates a perfect garden for Adam and Eve. Lucifer, who was the guardian angel of God’s throne, wants to be like the Most High. He is demoted but is still allowed to roam the heavens and earth. He deceives Eve and then Adam.

Note 1: Most of the dates used in this series of twelve plans are the biblical dates first calculated by Archbishop Ussher of Ireland in approximately AD 1650.

Note 2: In the Isaiah, Ezekiel and Genesis 3 passages Star of the Morning and King of Tyre seem to refer to Satan to whom God had given the special role of guarding the garden of Eden.
