Breaking Point

DAY 1 OF 5

There was a study done that listed the top three most stressful events in a person’s life. The first event was the death of a loved one. The second was divorce. The third, however, was moving. To leave where you are, where you’ve been, where you’re comfortable and to go elsewhere. When we as humans experience such a drastic change, it is absolutely terrifying for us!

I don’t like change.

It isn’t easy.

It isn’t fun.

It isn’t enjoyable.

But it is necessary. Without the change and transformation that God put in my life, I would not be here today! Sometimes change simply means growth. Sometimes it is hard to let go of what we HAVE to get what God HAS for our future!

Sometimes change is one door closing so that God can open another one for you. You see, when we are faced with opposition in life, the Lord helps give us the strength to break through. We must push past the difficulty of change so that we can follow the path that god has laid out before us. I declare today to be moving day, a day of change, transformation, and most importantly, a day of breakthrough.

It is only after we have broken through the chains and bondage, that we can follow the path of the Lord, and live the life that he has set out for us. A break through is an act or instance of moving through or beyond an obstacle. When you are doing something worth doing, there will be resistance. Where there is resistance, there will be the choice for you to either break down, or break through!

Regardless of your circumstances, you must continue to make the decision to break through. You must keep moving forward when faced with resistance.

In what way do you feel the Lord has decided to move you recently?

What kind of resistance did you have to break through during this time?
