Prayer: God, open up my eyes to see who you are. Show me who you are today through your world and your Word.

Made Visible

God created everything we see. The moon, the stars, the earth, the animals, and people. God formed creation in Genesis 1, so everything we see showcases God’s beauty. God is invisible, but he reveals himself through creation. As humans, we are the pinnacle of creation because we are created in his image. His love for us is unimaginable!

He showed love by sending Jesus to be our savior.  Jesus Christ was fully God and fully man, then he lived a life without sin. Through Jesus we have a fuller understanding of who God is and his love for us. He loves his people so much that he hates witnessing them indulge in their evil desires. He knows that the pursuit of fulfillment apart him will never truly satisfy. We deserve punishment for the crimes we have committed and continue to commit, but God chooses to show us grace. Praise God!

Questions to Ask Yourself:

  1. When you see creation do you usually think of God?
  2. What are some of your favorite things and how can you praise God for them today?
  3. Is there a part of your life that is leaving you empty instead of satisfied?

What’s Next?

  1. Take 10 minutes to write out a prayer to God thanking him for the many ways he has shown you grace in your life.
