This chapter records the events leading up to the last few days before Jesus’ crucifixion. While in Jerusalem, you can almost feel the tension building as Jesus is questioned, tested and accused.

But He never flinches in boldly proclaiming the truths of God's Kingdom and His role in bringing God's message of love and judgment for those who don't believe. All of what Jesus is teaching and doing boils down to the single greatest commandment: "Love the Lord your God with your whole heart, soul, mind and strength, and love others as yourself."

Nothing has changed that requirement for knowing God and living within His Kingdom. And because we complicate things with “religion” and failed attempts, Jesus offers Himself as the answer.
