The Beloved Pastor's WifeEgzanp
The Burden is Not Yours to Carry
God has already provided everything we need pertaining to life (2 Peter 1:3–4).
By faith, you trusted in Jesus as your Lord and Savior; by faith, you trusted God's promise of eternal life when you believed in Him. By faith, you can still trust God for the challenges you encounter as a Pastor's wife. Include God in every aspect of your life so that, through you and in you, God may accomplish His work. "Blessed is he who has made the Lord his trust" (Psalm 40:4). Trust is produced because of the faith we have in Him. Without faith, it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is the rewarder of those who seek Him (Hebrews 11:6).
Therefore, the heavy burdens are not yours to carry. They belong to Jesus. In Him, you will find rest; He will sustain you; and He will never allow you, his righteous, to be shaken. Always find your identity in Christ Jesus, because you are complete in Him (Colossians 2:10; Psalms 55:22; Psalms 68:29).
To the Pastor’s wife: God’s eyes are always on you; He goes before you, beside you, behind you, above you, and below you. He holds you fast in His hands and will never leave you or let you go. You are surrounded by the eternal love of the One who gave His life for you. Hang on tight and rest in His faithfulness (Isaiah 54:10).
Konsènan Plan sa a
A Pastor’s wife is called to support and encourage her husband, prioritizing her relationships with God, family, and others to keep the family healthy; being careful not to allow the busyness of daily culture to confuse her in the role God has entrusted her with. Expectations and needs of family and church may pull her in different directions, but one thing is always consistent, God’s love for her endures forever.
