The Growing Faith

JOU 2 SOU 5

THE LORD PERFECTS US

God perfects us through our daily lives, such as our relationships with our spouses, parents, children, bosses, employees, and daily patience. That means God can use anything, anyone, and any situation to mold us. God perfects us according to His will or what is good in His sight. He knows our strength; therefore, He never gives a test that exceeds our strength. The Bible says He will cleanse whoever does not bear fruits. None can escape God’s perfection.

Sometimes God has to take and throw something out of our lives. The Father in heaven will uproot any plants that He does not plant. There is no true Christian without a molding process from the Lord. God begins to perfect us when we decide to follow Him. Jesus said: “Whoever does not want to take up his cross, denying himself, he is not worthy of ME.”

Walking in one's strength will result in downfall. The Bible says cursed is anyone who relies on his strength. Therefore, we must depend on the Lord that will never disappoint us. We will be great witnesses when our lives are perfected.
