Make Way
Song and Devotional Written by Wendy Vides –
Last year, at a morning Sunday service, I had a vision of a Lion that came in through the church door while I was leading worship. He wore a long red cape and a gold crown on His head. I saw Him start to walk down the middle aisle, slowly and upright, like a Man. He kept His face forward, but with every step He took, He seemed to be checking with His peripheral vision to see who was truly worshiping Him.
As He did this, He smiled.
Stunned by His majesty I began to sing, “Make Way, Make Way, The King of Glory is in this place!”
May we never lose our reverence and admiration for our King. I pray that as He continues to reveal Himself and His glory through Jesus, we would not rush but instead would take a moment to truly worship our King and make way for His presence in our lives. For He is making all things new and makes a way for us in the wilderness.

Inspired by E58 Worship's debut album “Make Way," You Are Moving As We Praise encourages us to encounter God in a new, intimate way. Just like their parent church Expression 58, E58 Worship is committed to the message of Isaiah 58: inspiring personal faith, creative and cultural renewal, and societal transformation. You are Moving as We Praise shares the stories behind the songs, shared by the songwriters and musicians.
