WORD. A 21-day Reading Plan by Doxa Deo.Egzanp
Day 21
John 20-21.
In chapter 20, Jesus appears to various people after His resurrection. Some people were immediately overjoyed, while others were sceptical at first. He proves Himself to the disciples:
Jesus performed many other signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded in this book. But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name. (John 20:30-31 NIV)
In chapter 21, we see how Jesus reinstates Peter after his denial. Peter is charged with taking care of Jesus’ “sheep”. In the same way we are called to look out for the welfare of people – to look out for the interests of Jesus Christ - to love people. We are light-bearers and Kingdom Ambassadors in a world desperate for the love of Jesus.
Knowing God. Loving People. Impacting your World.
How can you look out for the interests of Jesus Christ in your world?
Are you willing to ask God for more opportunities to impact your world?
