Nou asepte pawòl moun pou verite. Men, pawòl Bondye a pi bon toujou. Epi, sa se temwanyaj Bondye bay pou Pitit li a. Konsa, moun ki gen konfyans nan Pitit Bondye a, se moun ki pran pawòl Bondye a pou verite epi ki kenbe l nan kè yo. Si yon moun wè yon frè l fè yon peche ki p'ap fè l mouri, se pou l lapriyè Bondye pou Bondye bay frè a lavi. Pren-sip sa a bon pou moun ki fè peche ki p'ap fè yo mouri. Men, gen yon kalite peche ki mennen yon moun tou dwat nan lanmò. Mwen pa di pou yo lapriyè pou moun ki fè kalite peche sa yo. Tou sa ou fè ki mal, se yon peche. Men, se pa tout peche k'ap mennen ou nan lanmò. Nou konnen depi yon moun pitit Bondye, li p'ap kontinye ap viv nan peche toujou. Paske, Pitit Bondye a ap veye sou li, Satan pa ka fè l anyen. Nou konnen nou se moun Bondye. Men, tou sa ki sou latè anba pouvwa Satan. Nou konnen Pitit Bondye a te vini, li louvri lespri nou pou nou ka konnen Bondye tout bon an. N'ap viv ansanm ak Bondye tout bon an, gremesi Pitit li, Jezikri. Se li menm ki Bondye tout bon an, se li menm ki lavi ki p'ap janm fini an. Pitit mwen yo, veye kò nou ak zidòl!
1 Jan 5:6-21 Parole de Vie 2017 (PDV2017)
Jésus-Christ, c’est lui qui est venu avec l’eau et le sang . Il est venu, non pas avec l’eau seulement, mais avec l’eau et aussi avec le sang. L’Esprit de Dieu est témoin que cela est vrai. En effet, l’Esprit de Dieu est la vérité. Il y a trois témoins : l’Esprit, l’eau et le sang, et les trois sont d’accord. Quand des êtres humains sont témoins de quelque chose, nous les croyons. Mais quand Dieu est témoin, c’est bien plus fort ! Et voici le témoignage de Dieu : il a rendu témoignage à son Fils. Celui qui croit au Fils de Dieu porte ce témoignage dans son cœur. Celui qui ne croit pas en Dieu, celui-là fait de Dieu un menteur ! Il ne croit pas au témoignage que Dieu a rendu à son Fils. Voici ce témoignage : Dieu nous a donné la vie avec lui pour toujours, et son Fils est la source de cette vie. Celui qui a le Fils a la vie, celui qui n’a pas le Fils n’a pas la vie. Je vous ai écrit cette lettre pour vous faire savoir ceci : vous qui croyez au Fils de Dieu, vous avez la vie avec Dieu pour toujours. Voici pourquoi nous sommes pleins de confiance devant Dieu : quand nous lui demandons quelque chose qu’il trouve bon pour nous, il nous écoute. Nous le savons, Dieu écoute toutes nos demandes. Alors, ce que nous lui demandons, nous l’obtenons, c’est sûr ! Si quelqu’un voit son frère ou sa sœur commettre un péché, un péché qui ne conduit pas à la mort, il doit prier. Alors Dieu donnera la vie à ce frère ou à cette sœur, si vraiment son péché ne conduit pas à la mort. Mais il y a un péché qui conduit à la mort, et je ne dis pas de prier pour ce péché-là. Toutes les actions mauvaises sont des péchés, mais il y a des péchés qui ne conduisent pas à la mort. Nous le savons, tous ceux qui sont enfants de Dieu ne commettent plus de péché. En effet, le Fils de Dieu les protège, et le Mauvais ne peut pas les toucher. Nous le savons, nous appartenons à Dieu, mais le monde entier est sous le pouvoir du Mauvais. Nous le savons, le Fils de Dieu est venu. Il nous a donné l’intelligence pour connaître le vrai Dieu, et nous restons unis au vrai Dieu par son Fils Jésus-Christ. Lui, il est le vrai Dieu et il est la vie pour toujours. Mes enfants, faites attention ! Ne suivez pas les faux dieux !

Si nou resevwa temwayaj lèzòm, enben temwayaj Bondye a pi gran. Men temwayaj Bondye a: Li rann temwayaj pou pwòp Pitit li a. Moun ki kwè nan Pitit Bondye a genyen temwayaj la nan li menm menm. Moun ki pa kwè Bondye fè l tounen yon moun k ap bay manti paske li pa kwè nan temwayaj Bondye rann pou Pitit li a. Men temwayaj la: Bondye te ban nou lavi etènèl, epi lavi sa se nan Pitit la li ye. Moun ki kwè nan Pitit la genyen lavi, moun ki pa kwè nan Pitit la pa genyen lavi. Mwen ekri nou tout bagay sa yo, nou menm ki kwè nan Pitit Bondye a, pou nou kapab konnen nou genyen lavi etènèl. Nou kapab pwoche bò kote Bondye avèk konfyans, si nou mande yon bagay ki nan volonte l, l ap koute nou. Epi si nou konnen l ap koute nou, nou konnen nou genyen sa nou mande l la. Si yon moun wè frè li oubyen sè li ap komèt yon peche, (yon peche ki pa mennen nan lanmò etènèl), li ta dwe priye pou Bondye bay moun sa a lavi, moun sa a k ap komèt yon peche ki pa mennen nan lanmò etènèl. Men genyen yon peche ki mennen nan lanmò etènèl, se pa pou li m ap mande nou priye. Tout enjistis se peche, men genyen yon peche ki pa mennen nan lanmò etènèl. Nou konnen nenpòt moun ki pitit Bondye pa chita ap fè peche. Paske Pitit Bondye a ap veye sou li. Satan pa gen dwa touche l. Nou konnen nou se pitit Bondye epi tou mond lan rete anba pouvwa Satan. Nou konnen Pitit Bondye a te vini epi li te ban nou entèlijans pou nou konnen Verite a. Epi nou nan verite a, nan Pitit li a, Jezikris. Se li ki Bondye toutbon vre a, se li ki lavi etènèl la. This is the one who came by water and blood—Jesus Christ. He did not come by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth. For there are three that testify: the Spirit, the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement. We accept human testimony, but God’s testimony is greater because it is the testimony of God, which he has given about his Son. Whoever believes in the Son of God accepts this testimony. Whoever does not believe God has made him out to be a liar, because they have not believed the testimony God has given about his Son. And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life. This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him. If you see any brother or sister commit a sin that does not lead to death, you should pray and God will give them life. I refer to those whose sin does not lead to death. There is a sin that leads to death. I am not saying that you should pray about that. All wrongdoing is sin, and there is sin that does not lead to death. We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin; the One who was born of God keeps them safe, and the evil one cannot harm them. We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one. We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true by being in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life. Dear children, keep yourselves from idols.

Celui qui est venu par l’eau et par le sang, c’est bien Jésus-Christ : il n’est pas passé seulement par l’eau du baptême, mais outre le baptême, il est passé par la mort en versant son sang. Et c’est l’Esprit qui lui rend témoignage, car l’Esprit est la vérité. Ainsi il y a trois témoins : l’Esprit, l’eau et le sang ; et les trois sont d’accord. Nous acceptons le témoignage des hommes ; mais le témoignage de Dieu est bien supérieur, et ce témoignage, c’est celui que Dieu a rendu à son Fils. Celui qui croit au Fils de Dieu possède ce témoignage en lui-même. Celui qui ne croit pas Dieu fait de lui un menteur, puisqu’il ne croit pas le témoignage que Dieu a rendu à son Fils. Et qu’affirme ce témoignage ? Il dit que Dieu nous a donné la vie éternelle et que cette vie est en son Fils. Celui qui a le Fils a la vie. Celui qui n’a pas le Fils de Dieu n’a pas la vie. Je vous ai écrit cela, pour que vous sachiez que vous avez la vie éternelle, vous qui croyez au Fils de Dieu. Et voici quelle assurance nous avons devant Dieu : si nous demandons quelque chose qui est conforme à sa volonté, il nous écoute. Et si nous savons qu’il nous écoute, nous savons aussi que l’objet de nos demandes nous est acquis. Si quelqu’un voit son frère commettre un péché qui ne mène pas à la mort, qu’il prie pour ce frère et Dieu lui donnera la vie. Il s’agit de ceux qui commettent des péchés qui ne mènent pas à la mort. Mais il existe un péché qui mène à la mort. Ce n’est pas au sujet de ce péché-là que je vous demande de prier. Toute désobéissance à la Loi est un péché, certes, mais tous les péchés ne mènent pas à la mort. Nous savons que celui qui est né de Dieu ne commet pas le péché qui mène à la mort, car le Fils né de Dieu le protège. Aussi le diable ne peut pas le dominer. Nous savons que nous sommes de Dieu, alors que le monde entier est sous la coupe du diable. Mais nous savons aussi que le Fils de Dieu est venu et qu’il nous a donné l’intelligence pour que nous connaissions le Dieu véritable. Ainsi, nous sommes unis au Dieu véritable, de par notre union à son Fils Jésus-Christ. Ce Fils est lui-même le Dieu véritable et la vie éternelle. Mes chers enfants, gardez-vous des idoles.
