Beautiful Prayer

To be filled with God’s love is a joy beyond description. It is a holy ecstasy and elation we can’t comprehend. When it crashes over us, it leaves us breathless and enraptured by our Savior. His love can sustain us through every trial, and without it, there is not a comfort in the world. Yes, we should readily cry out, “Fill us with your love every morning.”

A man can run on many types of fuel. He can make alcohol, sex, or work into the thing that gets him up every morning. We have to be aware of this and let these things be ruled by God’s love. Even if we have no work, no sexual partner, or no earthly comforts, the love of God can drive us every morning.

Dear Lord, please give me the strength that can only come from your love. Make me holy, righteous, and completely dependent on your support. Your love is greater than life, and it’s all I want.
