Finish Well
When King Solomon was a little child, he asked God to give him a discerning heart to govern God's people. God not only gave him a discerning heart, but He gave him wisdom too, thus he became a wise man for mankind. Although he was successful, he let his success consume him and he eventually turned his heart away from God. What about you? Is Jesus the centre of your life? Many start well but do not finish well.
Prayer: Father Lord, I pray by the power of the Holy Spirit to help us to win the race we run, help us to have spiritual discipline to deny ourselves, and to take your Cross and run a race toward our heavenly reward. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
