STATIONS OF THE CROSS - EASTER PLANדוגמה
JESUS MEETS THE WEEPING WOMEN OF JERUSALEM
Considering the rising evil throughout Jerusalem, Jesus cautioned the women to be concerned about themselves and the lives of their children instead of weeping for Him. Once again, we see Jesus not concerned for Himself as he walked towards His execution. He worried about those who faced the danger of eternal damnation due to their sin.
"Weep not for me," Jesus said. He was more concerned for what lay ahead for them than what lay ahead for him. He was willing to die on the cross because He knew that He had to fulfill His mission. He also knew that distress and calamity would come upon the sinners of Jerusalem as the Romans would destroy Jerusalem and the temple in AD 70.
Is there sin in your life? Take this opportunity to confess your sins to God. Sin is a barrier between you and God. Jesus' blood cleanses us from all unrighteousness and restores our relationship with God.
